A Note from the Founder
Hiya, I’m so glad you’re here.
Herbydaceous grew out of my own midlife turning point—a moment when all the roles, responsibilities and whirlwind of life felt like… well, a bit too much. Between juggling work, family, hormones, expectations and the occasional existential “What on earth am I doing?” moment, I realised I’d drifted away from myself.
So I went back to the place that had always grounded me: nature.

I walked the Cornish coast.
I wandered hedgerows.
I watched ferns unfurl and waves return and flowers rise after storms.
And slowly, gently, I began to feel rooted again.
What surprised me most were the lessons I kept finding outdoors—metaphors that reflected my inner world and helped me make sense of it. Plants became wise companions. The landscape became a teacher. And humour (thank goodness) became my buoyancy aid.
Herbydaceous is my way of sharing those discoveries with other midlife women who might need a moment to breathe, reconnect, laugh or simply feel seen.
No perfection.
No pressure.
No pretending.
Just real life, real women and real wisdom drawn from the natural world.
If something here supports your journey—even in the smallest way—I’m honoured.
With warmth and wildflower wishes,
Laura
